This site is brought to you by the Coalition for Jewish Learning (CJL), the education program of the Milwaukee Jewish Federation. CJL promotes and advances Jewish education in the greater Milwaukee community, provides a support system for the community's institutions of Jewish learning, and forges coalitions to ensure excellence in Jewish education. Our goal is to create "a community of learners." Now all the adult Jewish education offerings are just a click away. Learning Links will make it easy for you to find out what is available in our community. CJL achieves its mission by forging partnerships with an array of other community agencies, bringing together those who share common goals. CJL offers a variety of educational programs and services for adults, teens and children. (Click on "Support Services and Resources" to learn more.) CJL offers a meaningful way to acknowledge a special occasion or perpetuate the memory of a loved one through their Tribute Program. Our Nathan and Esther Pelz Holocaust Education Resource Center offers a variety of programs and resources for Milwaukee area students teachers and the general community. It is dedicated to Holocaust remembrance and education and to the preservation of the memory of its victims. By teaching about the Holocaust, the Center aims to promote awareness of the evils of hatred and prejudice and to inspire ethical behavior. Please visit frequently as we will add to the site on a regular basis. Your comments and suggestions are welcome and can be e-mailed to us at cjl@milwaukeejewish.org CJL is located at 6255 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Milwaukee, WI 53217. Phone (414) 963-2710 Fax (414) 963-2711 |
